The addition of an XL countertop provides a dedicated space for preparation, serving and organisation, improving both workflow and usability.

The integrated side table can be positioned on either the left or right, allowing the unit to adapt to different outdoor layouts. Additional features such as a multifunctional tray, towel rack with hooks, and generous storage space for wood and accessories help keep everything within easy reach.

Corten Steel Finish – What to Expect

If your Barbecook Nestor doesn’t yet match the rich, weathered finish shown in the images, this is completely normal. The Nestor is made from corten steel, a material specifically designed to develop its distinctive appearance over time.

What is Corten Steel?

Corten (weathering) steel is a high-strength material developed for outdoor use. When exposed to the elements, it forms a natural, rust-like patina on the surface.

This patina is not only decorative but also protective, helping to prevent deeper corrosion and ensuring long-term durability in outdoor environments.

What to Expect

When new, the steel has a more uniform, grey-toned finish. As it is exposed to air and moisture, it will gradually develop a warm, reddish-brown patina.
