Our Story

With a background in architecture and design, we've always believed that beautiful spaces shape the way we live. Great design isn’t just about how something looks - it’s about how it works, how it feels, and the memories created within it.

Alongside that professional passion, We’ve always loved cooking outdoors - the crackle of the fire, the smoky aromas, and the way food naturally brings people together. Over time, we began to see a clear shift: outdoor spaces were no longer an afterthought. People were investing more in their gardens, entertaining more at home, and looking for outdoor kitchens that matched the quality and design of their interiors.

Yet much of the market felt functional rather than inspirational.

That’s what led to the creation of hog the oven.

As a family-run business, we wanted to build something personal but purposeful - a curated destination for premium, design-led outdoor cooking equipment. Products that are not only built to perform, but built to belong within beautifully considered spaces. Every oven, grill and accessory we select reflects our belief that outdoor cooking should combine craftsmanship, performance and timeless design.

And the name hog the oven? That’s a little nod to my husband, who could never resist taking over the cooking and quite literally hogging the oven - so now the name is a reminder that great food is best when it’s shared (even if the oven isn’t!).
